AKAI Synthstation25 with Animoog software setup

Yep, Animoog is a strange beast - it doesn't start doing its own virtual MIDI until you change it to something other than OFF which makes it a little confusing when the Animoog virtual input appears not to work out of the box. Therefore, I tend to avoid using Animoog's input but use MidiBridge's output instead - a bit more reliable.

Here is how I do it:

1. In MidiBridge, connect Akai SS25 in (on left) to MidiBridge (on right). That's the only connection you need.

2. In Animoog, switch to the SETUP page

3. Under MIDI INPUTS select 'MidiBridge'

That should be it.
