Midifire and Akay Synthstation 25

Only MidiBridge supports the now legacy hardware like the SynthStation 25 (SS25) and Line6 Midi Mobilizer I (MMZ). I was unable to add this to MidiFire.

This is because the proprietary development libraries that MidiBridge uses from Akai and Line6 are 32 bit only.

Apple has gradually removed 32 bit support over the recent years, first by disallowing new 32 bit apps and now by 'breaking' all 32 bit only apps under iOS11. This means that the SS25/MMZ are never going to be supported by anything from iOS11 onwards.

I will keep MidiBridge available for as long as Apple will let me.

Of course you can still use MidiFire with an SS25 - you just need MidiBridge as well to present the SS25 as a CoreMIDI device.
