Hi Nic, Today I tried to send PC to change scenes in Midifire and I noticed that the old behaviour (freeze and no scene change) came back. Due to a long time using a simple midi setup rig, I donʹt remember the last time I used PC in Midifire with succesful. I have a new Ipad with OS 11.4 and the latest version of Midifire. Could you check if the solution used last year is implemented in the actual version of Midifire?
Regards,
Lidiano

Yes, it's same symptom, but different cause. This will be fixed in the next version.
In the meantime, I'm afraid you will need to revert to your workaround and in Midi Designer; disable the MidiFire ports as destinations and in MidiFire use the Midi Designer port as source.
MidiFire is seeing two program changes more or less at the same time and trying to load the scene while it is already loading the scene. I have code to serialise this but it is this 'protective' code that is locking up the app.
Regards, Nic.

Unfortunately I don't use Midi Design. I use Set List Maker, which cannot handle output ports properly. Do you know when the next version will be available? My scene to overcome this problem is very complex and depending when the new version be available, I would prefer to wait.

Hi lidiano , Oh, sorry I had it in my mind that you were using Midi Designer. Last time I sent you an update via TestFlight (beta) program. I can upload a patched version to that if you like. I don't see you listed as a TestFlight tester anymore for MidiFire. Did you press the 'Stop Testing' button? I can add you in again - just let me know and I'll organise that and the patched build. Version with the fix in it is probably going to take between 2-4 weeks. Regards, Nic.

Actually, scrap that. I've just pushed up a new update (1.12) with just that fix in for you before the July deadline. We just have to wait for Apple to review and hopefully approve and then you'll be sorted.
Regards, Nic.
