Hi,
I was trying to debug network communication from an iPad 2 (running iOS 9.something) to my iPad 6th generation (running iOS 11.4). I had Midi Fire (latest version) running on the new iPad. My Midi Fire patch had Network Session as a midi source connected directly to an Event Monitor.
When I played notes or sent program changes from the iPad 2, I would see the tile for the Network Session flash in Midi Fire but the Event Monitor wouldn't show anything. Sometimes if I deleted the tiles for the MIDI source and the Event Monitor and recreated the patch, it worked fine. This happened a few times.
It was strange. Because the tile for the MIDI source definitely flashed each time a midi event occurred. It is just that the monitor didn't display it.
I think this is a bug. Even though it happened a number of times, I am not sure if I can give a reproducible set of steps.
If there is info that I can provide that would be of help, let me know.
Best, Edward

Hi espiegel123 , I will see if I can reproduce this, but first some questions: - Have you seen this happen on non network ports at all? - When the network tile flashed did it flash red or yellow? - If you get this to happen again, could you please save into a scene and email me that scene please? Regards, Nic.

Hi Nic,
The network tile flashed yellow. The only times that I recalled seeing this was with the network port.
If I can get it to happen again, I will send you the scene.
Not sure if this is relevant, to create the scene, I loaded the Quick Monitors scene and added a Network tile. Initially, I wired it into the existing Event Monitor tile. But when I saw that the network tile flashed yellow without anything showing up in the Event Monitor, I added another event monitor.
I'll try to find some time this afternoon or this evening to try to recreate it. It happened a few times.
