Hey Nic,
I don't know if this is a known issue, but in case it's not, I wanted to let you know...
I'm getting very frequent crashes of MidiFire when clicking "Install Rules" in Stream Byter, if I don't stop Stream Byter from processing prior to clicking Install Rules.
I have a clock running into Stream Byter, so it's firing pretty consistently.
The app restarts fine, and there is no data loss, so it's really just an annoyance, but it is easily reproducible.
I'm running Stream Byter inside MidiFire.
iPad Air 2
iOS 12

Could you try turning off 'holdover mode' and 'event visualisation' in MidiFire Setup?
(don't think it's iOS12 necessarily, but there is an issue I am aware of)
Regards, Nic.

I have this on my list to look into. Best workaround for now is to switch off those two options while doing Stream Byter programming. You can return them to default during normal operations if desired.
Regards, Nic.
