Huge problem here, the beta is now over and won't load. I thought I could upgrade to the regular official version, (as an update like in Testflight) but I can't. I need to uninstall the beta, redownload the app.(that I have bought of course) But I'll loose all my set of rules !
I have 4 ipads, around 30 different rules, very spectific, and I can't even open the beta windows to cut/paste the rules to reinstall... I'm on a big track (for me) that I 've been working on all this month, and planned to record this week...
Help me please Could you make a new "false beta" to let me backup my rules ? Maybe add few days on the actual expired one ? Is there an other solution ?...
I'm not 100% sure what is going to happen when you move from beta to store version. I would have thought that the host that you are loading the AU into will recognise either the beta or the app store version as the same thing and any presets you have stored in the host for the AU will be restored as normal. Because I wasn't sure, I made up the beta for you just to be on the safe side.
I would recommend you try with the device with the simplest configuration and delete the beta and then restore from app store. I would be interested to know how you get on.
Of course, if you are using the app standalone/CoreMIDI then it will delete that configuration, but for the AU it should be OK.
Ok, it's very simple, you can update to the official release version from the beta without loosing anything. But if the beta is not available anymore, it won't load, and you have to uninstall the beta before reinstalling the official, and loose datas... All is perfectly good now, nothing loast, and music running !
