Today we released an update to both iOS and macOS versions of the StreamByter AUv3. The update includes bugfixes and some handy new features:
1. Preset Manager
You can now save/load presets internally in the app or plugin. Presets can be stored locally (which are shared amongst all instances of the plugin in all hosts) or with iCloud, in which case the presets are available everywhere, mac or ios.
2. MIDI Event Monitor
MIDI Events can be monitored as they enter and leave the StreamByter module separately. I think this is the first AUv3 with MIDI monitoring, so this could be handy for anyone who needs to monitor MIDI passing through an AUv3 chain as well as being super handy for debugging rules.
3. Inject flag is now supported
This flag allows the injection of messages back into the StreamByter either immediately or delayed. This was the one bit of the MidiFire Stream Byter module that was missing in the AUv3 - they are now functionally identical.
Here is a short video of the new features demonstrated in Logic Pro X.
