MidiFire scene change: Scene loading problem May 26, 2019 18:40:34 GMT

I've found an intermittent problem whereby on issuing a scene change message (which I normally do from Midi Designer (Pro2)) the MidiFire screen seems to show the scene that was loaded, but the signal routing seems to be stuck in the previous scene.
This has happened a few times in live situations when I didn't have the freedom to troubleshoot.
The only thing I can say from those experiences is that:
It doesn't appear to be associated with particular scenes.
Closing and restarting MidiFire solved the problem, without changing any other apps except possibly resending the scene change from Midi Designer.
Right now it's happened at home, so I've been able to check a few more things:
Once MF is stuck in one scene, I can send multiple scene changes (from MD or directly loading in MF) and see the MF screen change appropriately but the signal routing doesn't change.
On MF I can see signals at my input device (Korg plugKey) but not going farther than that.
With other scenes loaded MF doesn't respond to messages from my BlueBoard source or the MF source (which is set as a destination in MD), but if the "stuck" scene is reloaded those controllers start working again.
This is the scene that I'm stuck in right now:
Scene-020 Organ 2019-05-10.mfr (9.81 KB)
This is an example of a scene which normally loads perfectly, but which I can't change to right now:
Scene-006 Rhodes chorus 2019-05-09.mfr (7.26 KB)
Just for completeness, this is the scene that I think I tried to change to this time when the current problem started.
(I doubt if this scene is a factor itself, because this problem has happened with transitions to other scenes, and this scene has loaded perfectly in the past.)
Scene-030 Waiting for You 2019-05-10.mfr (9.96 KB)
As of now, I haven't restarted MF or made any other changes on the iPad, so if there are any other checks you'd like me to make before doing that, please let me know.
(It's way past bedtime here in Japan, so I'll try anything you can suggest in a few hours time.)
