Has anybody been able to control via midi BlueBoard’s backlit pads in BTLE mode (mode 2)? I’d like to enable them permanently in this mode, but perhaps it’s only possible to use them in proprietary mode 1.
Can't say I have tried myself, but the convention most hardware manufacturers use is to use the same MIDI events that the button sends, to switch the lights on/off remotely.
I think in mode 2, it's sending notes 3C, 3E, 40 and 41 on channel 1.
You could try this little StreamByter script that will send a note on for button A and then off after 5 seconds each time you press the Install Rules button in StreamByter :
IF LOAD SND 90 3C 7F SND 80 3C 00 +D5000 END
If you pipe that StreamByter to the BlueBoard and try sending it those events, if IK have implemented remote control of the lights as per convention, you should see it go on and then off after 5 seconds.
I'd be interested to know how you get on.
If it doesn't work, then you could try asking IK if it is possible to remotely turn the lights on/off in mode 2?
