Hi, I was wondering whether its possible to use stream byter to create radio button groups for LED feedback. I hope to setup an MB preset which will turn an mpc fly into a master pattern selector for a hardware rig, and so I want only one pad to stay lit when pressed and turn off others. Would also be good to get control of transport and any other lightable buttons. im experienced at doing this stuff in bomes MT, but not sure if you have conditionals and stuff in stream byter...
any information on the mpc fly would be much appreciated, I've done the reading and worked out that contacting akai is pointless!
many thanks

Hi bobbyquine,
I'd say it would be possible if the fly's MIDI spec can be obtained and that of course the LEDs can be set with a MIDI command. I'm guessing they can if the Akai app can do it.
There are no direct conditionals in Stream Byter (yet) but there may be a way using scene changes to do it.
I don't have a fly nor the spec. and I'm out of normal service for a week. If anyone was able to find a copy or a pointer to the fly MIDI spec that would be helpful. If this is still an open issue next week, I'll have a look also.
Regards, Nic.

Ok thanks Nic, I'll have a look at scene changes...
Likewise if there's anyone out there using the fly I'd really appreciate any info, most activity seems to have been about simply remapping the pad commands...
Thanks
