I'm struggling to get my head round the basics of Stream Byter.
Can someone explain to me how I might get it to remap a CC to the corresponding note value.
I can see how to do that for a specific CC value but I'm struggling to get it to work for the full range of CC values.
Thanks!

Hi umcorps, To blanket map CC's 0-127 to notes 0-127 start with this: BX = 9XThis will map the corresponding CC to a note on with a velocity value of whatever the CC message has. If the CC has a value of zero then this will become a note on with velcoity zero == note off Regards, Nic.

Thanks. I'm being really thick today.
I'm trying to remap CC2 on channel 1 to corresponding note values with a fixed velocity of 100

Hi umcorps, Ah, I misunderstood. You need something like: BX 02 = 9X X3 64
Which will convert the value of CC2 to a note-on of that value, fixed velocity 100 This will result in ringing notes, so may this might be better: BX 02 = 8X X3 00 +C +D1000 BX 02 = 9X X3 64Which will push a corresponding note off to auto-sound after 1 second Regards, Nic.
