Hi davvoy, Yes, I will be working on more stuff to aid customers as I go, but I need to get an update out first to quash the first round of bugs missed during beta testting. If there is anything specific you would like to see a guide for, please let me know. Regards, Nic.

Anything really nic Love the possibilities this app has. Is there a Script to have the Midifire load up a JPG image (abstract shapes) and some how take color and structure some how and convert an image to spit out some Generative Midi notes . Even if the final product is not 100% Perfectly Melodic but a starting point where one can tweak the notes and melody. If some generated melodies come out good, even better.

Fwiw that sounds like the ios app phonopaper combined with Virtual ANS. It would be cool if midifire could do it too

So, in theory, you could pipe binary data into MidiFire via the UDP port on the OSC Exchange module which is connected to a Stream Byter.
However the Stream Byter is designed to operate on the MIDI protocol. I think it would be very hard to write rulesets that understand binary image data and create some sort of note events from it. Basically, wrong tool for that job, I'm afraid.
Regards, Nic.
