Hi Nic, I've been trying to get my MidiBridge/StreamByter setup over to MidiFire, and have been stumbling over a few hurdles.
I can't get scene changes to work as they did before, for example: CX XX = C2 03 +C used to change to Scene 3 (on channel 3)... I've used the "Assign" function to set SceneChannel and ProgramChange per scene. I have the StreamByter module connected to the MidiFire Output destination– maybe I have some sort of routing error?
Also converting program changes into control changes used to work simply before in MidiBridge, but now with a message such as: CX 02 = B0 13 17 the value byte seems to be cut off.. and I end up with value "0"
Any insight on these issues would be greatly appreciated. - Brett

Hi lid55 , For your first one, it has changed in MidiFire in that a cloned note is not pushed into the top of the routing engine to force scene changes. You need top use a SND +I instead: IF M0 >= C0 IF M0 <= CF SND C2 03 +I END ENDThat second one is probably a bug in the port of SB1 into MidiFire. Let me look into that one. (EDIT: yes, it's a bug and now fixed for V1.10) Regards, Nic.

Hi Nic,
Thanks for the help, I got the scene changes working- on a bare-bones level anyway... now I can build my old patch up around what works. Along the way there were definitely a couple oddities/bugs I found, main one being that if I do a scene change with a hardware MIDI controller, the scene and its blocks change correctly, however, the highlighted scene in the scene menu does not change, and consequently, while using the "Save" scene button, I several times saved the wrong scene.
Also, I noticed that there is also a StreamByter section in this forum, if you can and want to move this thread to that section, that would make sense. I'll post this kind of thing in that section next time.
Regards, - Brett
