Hi there.
is there another way to view the device name in Midifire?
Long device names are abbreviated and don't appear in full in any view it seems.
For example I attached a Launchpad pro that has 4 ports and it's hard to distinguish which is which. None of the modules appear to display the full name even though I've tried tapping in the device name box.
Thanks in advance for any help here.
Also the 'Top' & 'Bottom' links in the in-app help pages actually close the help box.
Cheers.

Hi spookyzoo , Yes, it's a known issue. What it should do is truncate long names in the middle so you can see the start/end of each port and be able to distinguish them. On iOS devices, if you have dynamic type set to anything larger than the middle this falls to pieces and you don't see the end. I've made the following fixes for the next update: - cemented the size of the menu text so it behaves as intended. - you will now be able to see (and customise) the full name of a port when dropped onto the canvas. Regards, Nic.

Cheers Nic.
Appreciate the quick reply.
Is there a 'known issues' thread or post you can direct me to so that I'm not duplicating anything in future?
Cheers
Stuart

Hi spookyzoo, Yes, known issues are on the Inside Track thread. Your issue is described as 'iConnectivity names indistinguishable' (or words to that effect!) I hope to have 1.10 ready for beta testing by the end of the week which will include that (and other) fixes. If you'd like to get beta access, just PM me and I will add you in when I start the next round. Regards, Nic.
