I used MidiBridge to send midi wirelessly from my Mac to my iPad then went out of the iPad's 30 pin connector via a 30 to USB (photo adapter). From there I plugged in my Midi EMU 1x1 and then plugged that into the lighting board and run the light board from my laptop that is on stage. It WORKS GREAT and has never failed me.
With MidiFire the EMU doesn't show up as a output? I am using a Lightning Cable to USB (not official mac adapter). Should it just show up? The power (white) light, lights up on the EMU when it's plugged in.

Yes, it should show up if MidiBridge can see it. When you press the '+' at top left it should be in the list of MIDI ports (you might need to scroll down) which you can then drop onto the canvas.
Are you on iOS11? It's possible the 3rd party cable has been blocked by Apple if it isn't what they deem to be 'legit'
Regards, Nic.

You are correct. The Official Appleā¢ cable works as expected. Super happy. Thank you for the support.
