Hi Nic,
I am finding that 2 keys of my keyboard respond too high velocities to my key press. Would it be possible to reduce this with midifire? Maybe establising a limit in the velocity or reducing by X units the incoming velocities for those two notes. What do you think?
Thanks!

Hi 9alex , Limiting those 2 notes is easiest with the Stream Byter. Use this table to get the hex numbers of the 2 notes (or use an Event Monitor). Then, use rules like this example: # limit C#1 velocity to max 112 9X 25 70-7F = XX XX 70Which would limit velocities of C#1 (25 hex) to max 112 (70 hex) You could also use rules to reduce the velocity for those two notes. However, maybe the best way would be to split out those 2 notes from the event stream and pass them through a Pressure Curve module and you could apply a velocity curve to just those two notes. Then leave the other notes going to the destination directly. Regards, Nic.
