I have a Yamaha DTXplorer connected via Bluetooth using a Yamaha bt01. I am trying to remap the midi notes for example c2 to d2. I have opened a channel strip module and selected to note to be remapped then opened a event monitor and the c2 is still a c2. Could you help me with where I’m going wrong?
thanks ben

Hi ben828 , Use the left hand dropdown to select the source note to remap. As you make selections on the left, you should see the right hand dropdown automatically adjust to show the current mapping. By default each note is remapped to itself (ie. not remapped). To change a mapping, adjust the right hand dropdown to the note you wish the selected note on the left to be mapped to. Example, to map C2 to D2: - Select C2 on the left dropdown - The right dropdown will show the current mapping for C2 - Select D2 in the right dropdown C2 is now remapped to D2 Repeat for other mappings. Regards, Nic.

Hi nic, thanks for the reply, I’ve been trying this just as you have written and it has not changed the notes. Any ideas?

Hi ben828 , Put an Event Monitor before and after the Channel Strip and check that the notes you are remapping are the correct ones? Regards, Nic.

And if still no luck, save your work to a scene and either upload here or email to me and I will take a look. I have the DTX mappings somewhere so can check. Could also be your routing - I can check that at the same time.
