Hi!
I would like to learn how to generate Hold and/or Double tap actions with my FC-300 in SYSEX mode.
I have been reading the forum extensively, and all seems to be related to the Blueboard (Bluevelvet).
However, the Bluevelvet seems do not work with Stream Byter as MDP plugin. (Also, the code is so complicated to me that I do not understand how it works, at all.)
Using the Bluevelvet code as Input Rules, the code outputs a message the first time a footswitch is used in the Blueboard. Subsecuent pushes does nothing.
So, this thread includes a double question:
— How to generate Hold and Double tap actions using (on/off) SYSEX messages (the easy way!) — Can the Bluevelvet code be used with Stream Byter as MDP plugin somehow? It needs to be rewritten or something?

OK, I have something (Hold): note: The bug that nic refers to is already solved.
# midiDesigner.com/streambyter
ASS M9 = M9 00 F7 # To deal with Roland Checksum
IF M0 == F0 41 00 00 # SYSEX starts IF M4 == 00 20 12 20 IF M8 == 01 7F 00 F7 # ON ASS L0 = T0 # start timer END END END
IF M0 == F0 41 00 00 IF M4 == 00 20 12 20 IF M8 == 01 00 00 F7 #OFF IF T0 > 2EE # elapsed > 750ms SND BF 7F 7F SND BF 7F 00 END END END END

Hi edsaxman , Yeah, BlueVelvet will not work in MDP since it relies on the inject feature which has not (yet) been implemented in MDP. Regards, Nic.
