Aum supports MMC transport.
it would be cool if StreamByter could translate notes to MMC commands :-)
is this poss ? I tried but failed miserably.

Made a simple start but AuM is not playing nice :-(
IF M0 >= 30 SND F0 7F 7F 06 01 F7 END IF M0 >= 31 SND F0 7F 7F 06 02 F7 END

Hi topaz , That code is going to send an MMC start which is then immediately followed by an MMC a stop for every MIDI event. You probably want to trigger on a specific note on. In the example that follows I will use middle C (C3) for stop and D3 for start: # is it a note on event? if MT == 90 # is it middle C? if M1 == ^C3 send F0 7F 00 06 01 F7 end
# is it D3? if M1 == ^D3 send F0 7F 00 06 02 F7 end endI presume you will need to direct the StreamByter output to AUM's MIDI CONTROL port for that to work. If in doubt use StreamByter's event monitor to examine the MIDI messages being sent. Regards, Nic.
