I've been playing with the beta of SB and it really offers lots of wonderful possibilities. It strikes me that the presets don't really hint at all of the possibilities. Maybe you should think about packaging up some of the great scripts you've written here on the forum so that new users have them to play around with? I think more descriptive titles might help as well. I can imagine going in to find a randomization preset that would allow me to randomize notes, velocities, CCs, CC values, etc.--and then dial in ranges for all of these. Same with round robin. The key is that each preset is titled something that makes it apparent what it does at first glance to a novice user. Two cents and not a farthing more.

Yeah, they are a mess! I just add ones I think will be useful.
Really need someone to sort through them all, give them meaningful names and add some commentary to the start of each one to explain what it does and how to use it.
Any volunteers?

I'll be happy to help but I'll need help from other geniuses here who have varied interests. One approach might be to develop categories that help funnel things down so that the presets make sense. For instance:
Remapping: xxx Filtering: xxx Randomization: xxx Channel management: xxx Chords/strumming: xxx
A taxonomy if you will..,

I love the new beta stuff--so much utility. But it's slightly overwhelming. More presets please!
