Hello all I am having issues with a MPC Live II in controller mode triggering multiple notes with a single tap, this only happens in controller mode, but I’d like to use the device as an audio interface/controller for ableton live 12 on my M3 MacBook Air.
This doesn’t happen all the time, but some days it is really bad, like 4 notes in quick succession from a single tap of a drum pad.
I am curious if there is a way to design a script that will listen for incoming notes, and block all repeated notes of any particular note that was initially played for “X” milliseconds after the first notes, or something similar. It would need to allow multiple non-matching notes to be played simultaneously, so that different drum sounds can be played together, but stop the 4 snare hits that occur in a quick succession after a single tap.
Not sure if this would actually fix my problem, or if it is possible, but any advice or guidance is appreciated.
Thank you in advance Adam
