Hi,
I'm looking for a way to control the Start/Stop buttons of DM1 (Drum machine) but I'm clearly unable to write anything down to do so.. I don't even know if it is possible ? If someone could help me that would be great !!
MidiBridge is awesome by the way !!

Hi TyCoSquare, I just managed to map the start/stop buttons on a KORG NanoKontrol to start and stop DM1, so yes it is possible. You will need to use the Stream Byter and also you will need to know the MIDI codes that your controller sends for whatever button/control you want to map. I used MidiVision to determine what codes the nanokontrol was sending and it told me: Play button B0 2F 44 Stop button B0 2F 43 Unless you are going to use a NanoKontrol the rules below will need to be changed for your controller. Start MidiBridge, connect the controller MIDI (left) to MidiBridge (right) so there is a green line between them. Touch the beaker icon on the Controller's MIDI in (left) and select the Stream Byter. Paste in the rulesL # map Korg NanoKontrol transport B0 2F 44 = FA # start B0 2F 43 = FC # stopPress 'Install Rules' and Done & Done again. Switch to DM1, goto SONG and then MIDI and touch the word 'TEMPO' next to MIDIBRIDGE on left panel of MIDI inputs Hit play on controller and hopefully DM1 should trigger and stop when you press stop button. BTW, this works for BeatMaker 2 also. Regards, Nic.

I thanked you yesterday but the message didn't work apparently... So I tried it and it worked, I'm using an MPK49 so the rules are : # map MPK49 transport B0 76 7F = FA # start B0 75 7F = FC # stop I've been looking a long time for this that is awesome I saw it was possible to start from a given point of the song with beatmaker, tried it with DM1 and couldn't make it work so I suppose it is not possible but it's okay controlling the start/stop button on DM1 is more than enough !! Thank you very much !!
