I am totally struck by MidiBridge, it's an awesome must have item. I am a composer/teacher and I am using it in my project studio. I am really hoping there is a cool way to set this up.
Is it possible to set parameters in the stream dynamically, outside the app? Say using midi info or OSC? :-) I am not talking about changing scenes here but changing a variable in a stream string.
I want to setup zones on my keyboard controller. Simple enough you have examples of how to obtain this need. My sl990xp doesn't have the facility to create so I need/want something to help - this helps. However, I want to be able to change a zones characteristics like channel number, or octave location etc. on the fly? So, is it possible Nic? :-) Suggestions, short of stopping my work... go to the editor, change the code, etc, etc etc.
Also, I ran across a couple utilities you've created for example triggering chords and another I think dealt with dynamics by trigger. Is there a list of these online gems one could use for various purposes?

Hi gary, Thank you for your kind words. Right now there is no control of any MidiBridge modules via MIDI. The only way is via scene switching I'm afraid. You set up multiple scenes to cover your different zone/channel scenarios and switch between them from your controller via program change messages. I haven't been asked about MIDI control of MidiBridge's internals before. Interesting... The two utilities you mention are the only ones so far, so I hadn't created a 'utility' page since generally the relevant post here links to them and they are quite different. If you have a suggestion for another one, please do let me know. Regards, Nic.

Thanks Nic, I appreciate the quick response. I'm glad you find the option I spoke to a interesting one at least. I hope you consider implementation in the future. Meanwhile, I will go to my bag of tricks using PureData and incorporate it into the mix to help me manage what I need. MidiBridge stil will route and connect, but the patch will give me the control I am needing. I look forward to hearing about future enhancements. Again, great product and thank you for it! - gk
