Hello, I've been able to connect an Ipad to an other Ipad using midibridge. Now I would like to know how to connect a Mac to an Ipad. I may create hé network from the Mac, I may create also thru midi/audio configuration a session, but the Ipad does not appear at all, and if I create a directory, the ipad can't be connecter. I've tried to setup into midibridge the core midi destination to what is hsown (for instance "macbook" port 5004 but it never connect to it What should I check ? Thanks

First thing is to make sure that in your audio+midi application on the mac that you have at least one session in the 'My Sessions' box. If not, use the '+' key and add one. Select that session and tick 'enabled' in the Session window (right hand). Once the session is there, you should see the iPad in the Directory panel with a green circle (assumes MidiBridge running and iPad and mac on same local network). Click on the iPad and press Connect button. Here is another guide courtesy of hexler: TouchOSC mac wifi setup
To connect to the mac from MidiBridge make sure that on the mac 'Anyone' is set as 'Who may connect to me' and you will need to get the mac's IP address from the network preferences. Type that IP address into MidiBridge and it should connect. Regards, Nic.
