Hello I hope someone can help me with STream Byter. I want to remap the sliders on my controller to control the volume for midi channel 2 from Sampletank IOS. I am using BS-16 on channel 1. The slider mapped to CC7 controls the volume for that. I want to map 2 more sliders for Midi channel 2 and 3 so I can create my own layers. Thanks so much for any help.

Hi simscubed, Actually you can use the Holy Mapper module to do that mapping. I believe the axiom faders send out on CC 74 to 83 (faders 1-9)? To set up the mapping in the Holy Mapper: - Choose the 'Incoming' channel and CC first, for example CH1 and CC 75 (for fader 2) - Then choose what the current incoming should be mapped to by adjusting the 'Outgoing' channel and CC, for example CH2 and CC 07 (for volume on ch2) Repeat the above two steps (ie. select incoming channel/CC *then* adjust outgoing) for the other faders you want to remap. Of course it can be done via the Stream Byter also with these rules: BX 4B = B1 07 # axiom fader 2 to ch2 vol BX 4C = B2 07 # axiom fader 3 to ch3 volRegards, Nic.

Thanks Nic for your fast reply. I have one more question. How do I get mulitple midi channels to play at the same time? I am not going to use Sampletank. I will use BS-16i and control each channel with a slider. You told me how to map the sliders, now I need to play them all at the same time.
Thanks so much for your help.

You'll need to clone your notes to the other channels, so Stream Byter rules to do this would be:
N0 = X1 +C # clone CH 1 to 2 N0 = X2 +C # clone CH 2 to 3
Regards, Nic.
