Hi
I'm using a Novation launchkey keyboard to play the Arturia ISEM app. When I press a key it doesn't trigger the sound until the key is almost halfway down. My thought is that if I could turn off velocity on the keyboard it would trigger the notes better. I linked up the Launchkey keyboard and the app with Midibridge but I don't know how to turn off velocity In Midibridge. Do you know if this is possible?
thanks
andrew

Hi drewberg, You could do it with a Stream Byter rule like this: 9X = XX XX 60 # pin velocity to 96but it's a little crude since you're fixing the velocity completely. However, maybe in this case the Velocity Curve module would be a better bet. You can just draw a line/curve to force lower velocities upwards and leave higher velocities more or less alone and then you still get some velocity control? Regards, Nic.

Thank you for the info. Would I have to adjust the velocity for every single note individually or is there a "global" curve adjustment?

The velocity curve is applied to all notes (as is that Stream Byter rule)
In theory you could have per note velocity curves with Stream Byter but it would be a lot of rules and I suspect of limited use!
