I need solution for my idea to use drum pads from my Roland octapad to play bass notes. I did that on my laptop in Ableton Live 9.1 using some extra max for live devices. Now I'd like to use midibridge to make it possible on ipad.
I'm using ChordPolyPad to send a midi note to ThumbJam set with bass sound. In ChordPolyPad I've set pads to hold mode so when I hit a pad it will be sending that note until I will hit it again or hit another one to trigger different note. What I want to do is that ThumbJam will not play this note until I trigger it with my kick pad from Roland Octapad.
I need kind of midi gate between ChordPolyPad and ThumbJam that could be open by midi note triggered from Roland Octapad. It will be nice if I could set attack, hold and release of that midi gate.
Is it possible with midibridge or maybe You know any midi gate on ipad that I could use and put in a path between this two apps?
