I'm having trouble with Holy Mapper. I'd claim it's not working but I just started using this fine app (and I'm a MIDI newbie) and I could be misinterpreting something.
I tried mapping Ch 10 to Ch 8 using Holy Mapper and could not get it to work. I then tried using Stream Byter and successfully mapped Ch 10 to Ch 8.
Holy Mapper seems super straightforward and I'm assuming a lot of people are using it but, to me, it appears to be broken. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi markel, The Holy Mapper maps combinations of channel+controller not entire channels. You first select the channel and controller you want to work with on the Left 'Incoming' column and then you adjust the channel+controller you want the currently selected incoming channel+controller mapped to using the 'Outgoing' column. It's a more a craft knife than a saw as it gives you fine control of what gets mapped. You can map the all controllers of one channel to another in the Holy Mapper but you need to make 128 incoming selections and outgoing adjustments. Not recommended! To map all events from one channel to another, then Stream Byter is the tool for that job with your X9 = X7 (I presume) rule. The Note Splitter module can map all notes from one channel to another by setting a split at zero too. Regards, Nic.

Ahh... Thanks, Nic. I should have gone to bed and picked it up again in the morning. ;-) Just coming up to speed and overlooked the controller aspect. Very cool app.
