Would you consider writing a utility (or adding functionality to MIDIBridge) which would allow the redirection of incoming WiFi TCP/UDP traffic on a specific port to a different port? Here's an application:
I have a Missing Link, which basically translates OSC to DIN MIDI & vice versa. I need to use it w/ Lemur. The problem is that the Lemur app is hardcoded to receive on port 8000 (or 9000, i forget) and the Missing Link is hardcoded to transmit on port 12345.
There are tons of port remapping utils for windows, etc., but none I could find for iOS. It would be a Godsend...
Thanks

Hi forestcat, I suspect the reason you can find no port remapping utilities for iOS is that Apple doesn't allow them into the App Store. The Lemur guys are really responsive so I would suggest contacting them and asking them to alter Lemur to either specifically work with the Missing Link or make the OSC port user configurable. Regards, Nic.

I posted a message on their forum over two years ago. The response was that almost all apps allow you to set the transmitting port, so it shouldn't be an issue. Of course, that function is broken in the Missing Link, so it IS an issue, lol.
