Hello, It would be lovely to be able to set the tempo live via a CC control without stopping play. Thanks

Hi allthatsgone, Version 1.3 of the MidiBus app has just started propagating on the app store and includes two new features: - set tempo using 'tap' button - control tempo with CC (see inbuilt information page for details) - this is dynamic, so you can adjust tempo while the clock is running. Regards, Nic.

Wow, thank you for this wonderful app. It's so nice to have a solid sync between apps that don't play well together on their own.
I was very glad to hear that cc control was added - in fact that's what sold me on it - but I'm slightly baffled by the omission of cc for the tap tempo, and alas I cannot really use it for my purposes without it. This would be very useful for someone like me who hopes to use it on stage with a band (lots of tempo shifts) in order to keep effects and drum sequences in sync on the fly. I would love to be able to tap a tempo in from my main controller in TB midi Stuff without having to switch to the app.
If there is a way to do this that I'm missing (I'm fairly new to the ios/midi world) please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi wetfood, Yes, I neglected to add this even though I promised I would. There's a thread here where I have already been caught out on this. If you have any ideas on how to differentiate between someone tapping a tempo and just playing please add your opinion! I will add this in as soon as I can (hopefully can do it during the week) Regards, Nic.

Firstly, thanks for responding so promptly. I've read that support was good around here and you don't disappoint!
Sorry I didn't find that thread before posting. To weigh in: I think a simple cc mapable tap would suffice (at least for my purposes). I could then send cc from my blueboard as well as an onscreen tap tempo from TB Midi stuff.
Thanks a million
