Compared to other folks' usage of midi bridge, this seems like a menial task; however this could become a very useful and cost effective tool for composers. Is there a way to use a keyboard app on an iPad, route the midi through midibridge on a wifi network, and use that signal to input notes in finale? Is there a simpler way of doing this? Which keyboard app would you recommend for this use? Thank you for your reply (ies)!

I'll come clean here in that you don't *need* MidiBridge for this, although it may help if you were initiating the wi-fi connection from the iPad itself. Essentially just about any iPad keyboard app (eg. BeatMaker, Arctic Keys - but not GarageBand!) that can send keypress events to the CoreMIDI wifi session will work. If you are connecting to a PC then you will need rtpMIDI installed. If Mac, then Audio+MIDI setup under utilities is all you need. Of course, if you want to do more complex routings/merging/filtering on the iPad you can indeed pipe the keyboard apps' output to MidiBridge and then pass to wifi. Regards, Nic.
