I'm really pleased to announce that MidiFire is finally available (it's been a long time in development). I do hope it has been worth the wait and that you like it. I like to think it's my best yet.
Once the launch sale is over, I plan to bundle MidiFire with MidiBridge so existing MidiBridge customers who may have missed the launch sale can cross-grade to MidiFire at the sale price at their leisure.
If you're an existing MidiBridge owner and you've found something that MidiFire doesn't do (yet), please let me know. Chances are I can make it do what you want or incorporate that into an update. Right now I realise that I forgot to migrate the 'CoreMIDI Net' options from MidiBridge so you can initiate CoreMIDI network sessions from within the app (and also do the infamous 'localhost' trick). This will be on the top of my list to add.
Obviously there will be teething problems with a new app (and it's my first solo Mac effort on the Mac App Store), so please go easy on me and get in touch. If I don't know about these issues I won't be able to fix them.
As always, I'd really appreciate ratings and reviews on the App Store to massage my large ego. If you're going to leave a 1 star review, please let me know beforehand in case I can help!
Regards, Nic.
