Hi Nic,
I just downloaded MidiFire. After a brief look through the manual and opening a few modules in the app I think I can see how the combination of Channel Strip and Range Filter is going to add up to a really powerful note splitter, channel assignment and transposition function. I'm also delighted to see the Event Monitor which is something I could use right now in MidiBridge to troubleshoot a scene I'm trying to set up to control the Galileo Organ. Also I'm glad to see the unlimited number of scenes, since I can see myself using all 127 in MidiBridge.
Questions:
1. Is there any way to migrate scenes and module presets from MidiBridge into MidiFire?
2. Does MidiFire have an equivalent of MidiBridge's module presets? (In MidiBridge they really save time when setting up scenes.)
3. Is there an equivalent function to MidiBridge's Program changer?
David.

Hi drkeys, Answers to your questions: 1. Unfortunately, I made a poor decision with MidiBridge (early days) and stored the presets/scenes in a binary file, so it was going to be really difficult to be able to migrate MidiBridge scenes to MidiFire. So, only Stream Byter rules are backwards compatible. 2. Not exactly, but there is something slightly similar; You can create a scene with just the one pre-configured module on it and then whenever you want to use that, just merge it in to the current canvas using the Scenes menu. 3. Yes, you use the stream byter's IF LOAD to do that now: # issue program changes on load IF LOAD SND C0 02 SND C1 12 ENDRegards, Nic.

Hi Nic, Thanks for the prompt response.
I kind of suspected that transferring my MidiBridge setups into MidiFire wasn't going to be easy, but it's something I'm going to do as time between gigs permits.
David.
