Purchased MidiBridge to be able to use my Line6 Midimobilizer II with the CMI app on my iPad Air. However, I haven't been able to figure out the mappings to allow the CMI app to be triggered via midi keyboard through the Midimobilizer.
Has anyone done this successfully? Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi girlheads, I presume you can play notes on the CMI app with the external MIDI keyboard, yes? If so, what do you want to map? knobs/faders/buttons on the keyboard to CMI functions? What is the external MIDI keyboard (brand/model)? I'm not familiar with the CMI app so don't know what is mappable but I think I can find out for you. Regards, Nic.

Actually, I just want to play notes using an external midi keyboard. Nothing fancy. But I'm unable to get it to work.

Hi girlheads, OK, well if all you want to do is play notes and you have a MIDI Mobilizer II (not the original 1) then really, you don't need MidiBridge for this. CMI should recognise and respond to your keyboard directly. You may need to configure CMI to listen to the MIDI Mobilizer II port in its settings though. And the MIDI channel your keyboard is sending on should match the CMI MIDI channel also. Also, if your keyboard has both USB and DIN MIDI ports make sure it is setup to use the DIN ports (many keyboards default to USB). Check that when you play keys on the keyboard that the 'out' arrow on the MIDI Mobilizer flashes. Where MidiBridge is needed is if you have the original version 1 of the Line6 or if you want to map controls on the keyboard to CMI parameters. Regards, Nic.
