I just bought Mfx Pan, and I can't get it to work. It seems simple enough. I've tried it in Cubasis under the "Midi FX" section, and in Aum, where it can be checked as the controller for the synth being used. I've also tried having the keyboard and Mfx Pan control the desired app separately, and I've tried putting the keyboard in front of Mfx Pan in controlling the synth.
I can't figure out any way to get Mfx Pan to produce any type of pan effect, and I've tried a few different things so far. I can't tell if it's just broken in general, or if there's some mechanism I'm not understanding. I'm using a 10.5 inch 2017 iPad Pro on the latest firmware update.

Hi Will,
The sound generating app needs to support pan messages. Which app are you using?
For my testing, I used AUM, an external keyboard and bs-16 as the generator, which definitely supports pan messages. I took the following steps:
1. Add mfxPan in first AUM slot 2. Add bs-16i in second AUM slot. I used an organ sound to hear it best. 3. In AUM's MIDI matrix make the following connections:
- external keyboard to mfxPan @ CH 1 - mfxPan @ CH 1 to bs-16i @ CH2
Use headphones to hear the effect or if you bring up bs16-i and play notes on the keyboard you will see the panpot move.
The default setting in mfxPan is audible but to make it more obvious set the depth value to 64.
Regards, Nic.
