Midi analyse performance ?
Hi, is possible with streambyter read midi data "how many chords have performance TOTAL", "how many different chords" are in performance/composition TOTAL, how many notes TOTAL, How many differenet notes as quarter, triples etc TOTAL and how many pitchebending TOTAL?
I want to upgrade my skills on guitar and want to KNOW how many chords, notes, bending i have in performance and composition!
If someone know or have other MIDI tool as streambyter, please let me know about it! How to get this resoult?
Thanks❤️very much great people!

Sounds like a fair of work to do this in StreamByter, although it could be possible. The stats could be collected and then displayed on demand using the LOG rule.
Counting notes is easy.
Counting chords (2 or more notes sounding simultaneously) is do-able.
Detecting pitch bend and counting bends is a bit more tricky, but possible.
Determining whether a note is quarter/triple is a bit harder - the script would need to be told the BPM and then classify each note according to its length - not impossible though.
I'm not aware of other MIDI tools that do this, but I have not looked. There are other MIDI programming tools like StreamByter but you would need to solve the same problems (as above) in any case.
Regards, Nic.
