Hi, I have a Novation Launch Control XL and Circuit, UNO and Behringer K2 synths, all hooked up to a USB 3.0, powered hub which is feeding them into a 2018 iPad Pro. What I would like to do is use the LCXL to control the synths and the Circuit. Is that possible with MidiFire alone, or do I need more hardware?
eta: One controller on the LCXL can change settings on the iPad app for the UNO synth, but only on one parameter and only from 0 - 63. If I turn the knob too quickly then MidiFire triggers the Panic setting and everything closes down on that side.

Hi ashhh , Yes, MidiFire should allow you to interconnect all that hardware. Sounds like you have a MIDI loop where both MidiFire and the hardware a doing a MIDI thru. You need to break the loop either with some hardware config or in MidiFire's routing/setup. Regards, Nic.

Great! So, having looked at the manual, I can't see much about where to start with that. Would I be better off starting with StreamByter Uni?

Hi ashhh , It's going to be a bit more fundamental than that; probably more green lines than you need! - I wouldn't be concerned about StreamByter programming just yet. Can you upload either a screenshot of your canvas or your scene file and I will take a look. You should probably only have the following: LCXL +-> Circuit |-> Uno --> K2 Regards, Nic.

Just checked the UNO manual and it says that MIDI Soft Thru is enabled by default and can be disabled via MIDI SysEx. SoI'll be looking up what that is and learning how to turn it off on the UNO.

Hi ashhh , In that screenshot, there do not seem to be any connections between the LX and the other modules. MidiFire is therefore not routing any MIDI messages. If you have MIDI loops, then it must be something else on the iPad routing MIDI between the hardware. Are you using other MIDI routing apps at the same time? Regards, Nic.
