I’m pretty new to MidiFire and see that it provides a clock module which can be used to drive the playhead for apps which provide a timeline. Does MidiFire have an internal timeline which can be accessed/manipulated? I have seen some StreamByter examples which appear to send SPP control messages but I cannot work out what the plumbing looks like in MidiFire to trigger this type of script to control the playhead in an application.
There are a couple of things I would like to be able to do:
1. Loop over two arbitrary points in a timeline, like you might do with loop points in a DAW. 2. Have some primitive timeline position control, even if just “back/forward 1 bar”
This is something you cannot do in AUM as it does not react to SPP, but it seems like it could be possible in MidiFire.
