Hello all.
I am an organist, who has to play without a pedalboard from time to time. I have been looking for software that would allow me to use a single foot switch to play the pedal part by changing the midi note sent on/off with each press of the pedal. I just stumbled across StreamByter and it looks like it might enable me to do that by perhaps building a lookup table with the notes to be played and incrementing the reference to the table with each press of the pedal.
Does this sound like something the software would do? And, if so would you recommend me purchasing Streambyter as a stand alone or going with MidiFire for more flexibility?
My apologies if this is discussed in another string, but I wasn't able to find it.
Thanks!

Both will do it. Streambyter is free, so start with that. Your lookup table idea will work just fine but you need to setup the lookup table in the script. Could get flashy and write code to 'learn' the lookup table but that would be more advanced.
